Do you provide virtual counselling services?
Yes. All virtual sessions are provided via secure, online video platform or by phone, making it easy to speak with her from anywhere in Canada.
Do you provide in-person counselling services?
Yes. All in-person counselling sessions are provided through ME Family Therapy in Truro, N.S. Please connect with them to book a session with Lynn.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Yes. Most of the counselling services Lynn provides are covered by many workplace health and benefits packages. MSI does not cover counselling provided by Lynn. If you are seeking virtual counselling and reside outside of Nova Scotia, please check with your insurance provider about your coverage details. Click here for more detailed info on coverage.
What hours are you available to see clients?
Counselling services are available Monday-Thursday only. Lynn strives to accommodate clients' busy schedules and will work with you to find an appointment time.
How do I set up an appointment?
To set up an appointment, please contact Lynn by clicking here. After your initial email is sent, she will get in touch to set up an appointment. For in-person appointments, please connect with ME Family Therapy to book a session.
What types of counselling do you provide?

Who do you provide counselling to?
Lynn offers counselling services to clients across Canada. The majority of Lynn's clients are individuals aged 14 and up addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, pain management, career changes, grief, etc. She also counsels couples on a wide-range of issues such as affairs, betrayal, communication break down, separation, divorce and more. Once I have an appointment, how does it work?
Your first session with Lynn will be used to fill out any necessary paperwork, learn your history and help determine the appropriate therapeutic treatment for you. It's also a great time to ask any questions you may have. Lynn uses a client-centred counselling approach and various additional strategies and tools, based on the individual client. Are you an approved candidacy supervisor?
Yes. Lynn is currently listed on the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists’ schedule of Approved Candidacy Supervisors for Registered Counselling Therapists (RCTs). She is currently accepting supervisees.
